in the deep forest where moss blurs the line between flora and fauna. Where nuances take you to an enchanted world, where elk bow for the Queen of orchids. That’s where I have my AARV, where's yours?

AARV, is the Swedish word for Heritage. Since we, Frida Liljestrand & Sandra Persson, are from Jämtland, an area in northern Sweden, aarv is spelled with a double A. Nowadays we both live in Stockholm and work with production and design at a design agency and an international clothing brand company.

Located in a Chelsea brownstone landmark townhouse, these splendid residential spaces fluctuate between outside and inside. Renovated for a a fashion designer in search of a balanced composition of textures, colors and light, this 3,400 square foot residence in Chelsea, New York, was designed by Archi-Tectonics.
